The Things They Carried

Today in Asah and Nacho's discussion we talked about how soldier would stay in the fight and not lose sight of what is important. somem characters carry momentos from there loved ones, others carried mariguana and painkillers, others clutched their guns to feel safe. as a friend once said, "look on the bright side or the dark will get you down". (wise person) when you deal with a war that has so little backing in the real world then the soldiers have to find ways to propel themselves forward.
